LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) is used for cooking by around 1.3 billion people worldwide, or roughly 17% of the global population. The number of users is gradually increasing as more homes acquire access to contemporary cooking fuels. By 2030, it is anticipated that nearly 2 billion people might use LPG for cooking if efforts to enhance access continue to succeed. LPG is especially popular in cities because to its ease and comparatively clean burning when compared to solid fuels such as wood and charcoal, which are still commonly utilized in many developing countries. Continued research and innovation in this area aim to enhance the performance and sustainability of gas burners.
