The Truths We Burn

It’s been such a long time since I read The Lies We Steal, so I was even more excited to finally dive back into this world – and WOW, what a ride! I thought the first book was amazing, but the second one? Holy hell. This series just keeps getting better and better. The Truths We Burn completely blew me away. It took everything I loved about the first book and elevated it to a whole new level. From the very first chapter, I was hooked and couldn’t stop reading until I’d devoured every single page. And Rook… he absolutely has my heart. He’s impossible not to love, and every scene with him had me completely invested. The chemistry, the emotions, the tension, the heartbreak – it all felt so intense. The relationship between Rook and Sage was beautifully written, and watching their story unfold was both heartbreaking and unforgettable. I once read that the best way to describe this book is: Lucifer and Lilith’s love story. And honestly, I couldn’t agree more. It made me laugh, broke my heart, and left me speechless more than once. I genuinely loved every second of it, and I already can’t wait to continue this series.
