His research focuses on the roles of cellular senescence, oxidative stress, and respiratory diseases. His editorial contributions include Springer volumes on inflammatory lung diseases, epigenetics, and molecular pharmacology.

He is serving as an Assistant Professor at Uttaranchal University. He has completed his Master of Pharmacy (Pharmacology) from Jaipur National University and Bachelor of Pharmacy from Lovely Professional University. He is a prolific and accomplished writer with a diverse portfolio of published works. He is a distinguished Professor of Clinical Biochemistry at the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, Ajman University, UAE. Prof. Shahwan earned his Ph.D., M.Sc., and B.Sc. in Biochemistry from Aligarh University, India, between 1994 and 2002. His research portfolio includes 280 peer-reviewed publications, over 40 supervised master’s theses, and multiple research grants, As a dedicated research leader, Prof. Shahwan has played a crucial role in establishing and heading the Centre of Medical and Bio-allied Health Sciences Research. Additionally, he has been a Recipient of Ajman University’s Best Researcher Award (2021 & 2024). Serves on the editorial board of three scientific journals. Principal Investigator (PI) in 15 internal research grants and Co-PI in 9 others. Prof. Shahwan is actively driving strategic research initiatives to strengthen interdisciplinary collaboration, enhance publication impact, and integrate cutting-edge methodologies such as artificial intelligence in research.

She is an Assistant Professor at the Uttaranchal Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Uttaranchal University. She holds a Master of Pharmacy in Pharmaceutics and a Bachelor of Pharmacy from Suresh Gyan Vihar University, both awarded with First Class distinction. An emerging voice in pharmaceutical sciences, she has authored over 50 high-impact peer-reviewed articles and several book chapters with renowned publishers such as Elsevier and Springer. Her academic and research pursuits span nanotechnology-based drug delivery, cancer therapeutics, neurodegeneration, and inflammatory diseases. She also serves as an Editor for the Journal of Cancer Therapeutics and Immunotherapy, showcasing her expertise in scientific writing and critical analysis. Riya Thapa’s contribution to academia is further strengthened by active participation in international conferences, workshops, and seminars, reflecting her commitment to continuous learning and collaboration. With a passion for evidence-based research, educational excellence, and innovation, Riya Thapa continues to make meaningful contributions to both scholarly literature and student development, earning respect and admiration among peers and colleagues.

Is a Professor of Pharmacology & Toxicology, in the Dept of Pharmaceutical Technology at Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India. His research interest involves cardiovascular diseases, bioavailability of drugs and traditional medicine. He also works on toxicity studies on common food and chemical additives. He has established molecular research facilities for receptor specific mRNA studies both in vitro and vivo system.
