Diego Caballero-Vélez is a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Messina. He received his PhD at the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies and has spent visiting periods at the University of Oxford, the European University Institute and the SGH Warsaw School of Economics. His research focuses mainly on international migration governance, political economy, and EU foreign policy.

James C. Roberts , Professor Emeritus, is retired from 39 years of teaching and research at Towson University in Towson Maryland USA and American University in Washington DC USA. He received his Ph.D. from the School of International Service at American University. His fields of expertise include international political economy, international relations theory, research methods, and rational choice modeling.
