The Light Under the Shadow Wing Heirs of the Second Dawn; 1

I love this cover! It is bright and evokes a sense of warmth and fire. Phoenixes are fascinating creatures. The narrators were good in general. I liked their voices. However, I did find the female narrator's interpretation of male voices needed getting used to. I liked the two protagonists and enjoyed following their story. They are both strong, thoughtful, cooperative, friendly and intelligent. I also enjoyed learning more about the world in which they live. The author has created something fascinating here, and I wanted to know more about it. I could immerse myself in the storyline and experience the emotions, which made it diverting and entertaining. However, I did find the anger and the duration it took for them to open their hearts a bit exaggerated. All in all, I enjoyed listening to this audiobook and would recommend it!
