This after a visit to see his former business partner's widow, Sreelatha, and drinking a strange tea served by her housekeeper, Abhaya... A tea that not only makes him susceptible to suggestion but will lead to his wife befriending the widow herself and ensuring she too begins to exercise authority over him... At least until he is considered worthy of entering the service of both controlling widow and draconian Indian housekeeper!
