Portrait

Dr. Debajyoti Bose is a biotechnology and sustainability researcher specialising in the intersection of energy, water, and health systems. He is currently affiliated with Woxsen University, Hyderabad, India. His work spans bioenergy, water access and treatment, sanitation systems, and the application of biotechnology to environmental and public health challenges. His research includes the exploration of plant-based bioactive compounds, including novel Himalayan species, for the management of waterborne infections and antimicrobial resistance. He has held academic and research affiliations with institutions in India, Russia, and Canada, contributing to interdisciplinary collaborations across biotechnology and environmental science. Dr. Bose is actively engaged with international organisations in the areas of energy, water, and sustainability, and contributes to the scholarly community through editorial and peer-review roles in leading journals. He has also supported applied public health initiatives in collaboration with international agencies, particularly in community-level implementation contexts.

Dr. Riya Bhattacharya is an academic and researcher specialising in biotechnology and health technology. She serves as Assistant Professor at Woxsen University and Co-Chairperson of the Centre of Excellence for Health Technology and Biodiversity. She holds a Chair Professorship under the mentorship of Prof. John P. A. Ioannidis of Stanford University, with a focus on research integrity and high-impact medical and public policy research.

Her work centres on antimicrobial resistance (AMR), exploring how natural compounds such as essential oils can act synergistically with conventional therapeutics to address drug-resistant pathogens. She is actively engaged in translational research at the interface of bioinnovation and global health, with contributions to peer-reviewed literature and intellectual property development.

Her research aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly in advancing public health, sustainable bioenergy, and next-generation drug discovery.

Dr M. Gopinath possesses a PhD in Chemical Engineering and a strong foundation in Chemical and Bio Engineering with 15 years of experience in top academic institutions. He is an effective communicator with excellent management skills and strong analytical, problem solving, leadership and decision making. Currently he is serving as Associate Dean (IIC) at Vel Tech HighTech Dr. Rangarajan Dr. Sakunthala Engineering College in Avadi, Tamil Nadu, India. He is an active member of various bodies such as IIChE, BRSI, CAPS and various other review committees.

Dr. Raul Villamarin Rodriguez is Vice President of Woxsen University and holds professorships in cognitive psychology and integrative research. He also serves as an Adjunct Professor at Universidad del Externado in Colombia and sits on international advisory boards in Europe and Russia. He holds a PhD in artificial intelligence and robotic process automation in human resources and specialises in machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, and emerging areas such as quantum AI. He contributes to global academic initiatives, including expert groups focused on responsible management education and pedagogy. Dr. Rodriguez is recognised as an expert by the European Commission and actively contributes to research, publishing, and academic service through authorship, editorial roles, and peer review for leading journals.
