I could imagine the scenes so well and now in winter the scenes that took place with snow felt even more real! At the beginning the book was a little slow but the further towards the end the more it got me hooked! I love the characters and their personalitys and dynamic! I especially love the MC and all that she portrays but also how the relationship between her and the other characters were described! Loved finally reading about a more powerful protagonist in a dark romance book and that the plot was really not foreseeable to me.

Hunters & Foxes, as the first Novel published by Priska left a very good impression! Daphne as one of the MC's of the book represents both a strong yet dramatic Figure. Yun, the 2nd MC and Daphne's Love Interest is more a passive Figure but he is very amable throughout the book. We like a Yearning King! The Novel is very enjoyable, showing POV's from both Protagonists and the many individual challenges that befall them. It's written in a more realistic tone. While Daphne is a strong woman in spirit, she's yet bound to her royal duties, which make the approach of the climax of the book even more tragic. And Yun, a former assassin isn't able to help Daphne, even if it takes all of his restraint. Both Protagonists are very lovable and you can feel the emotions through the eyes of the characters. Overall it's quite a quick read, so the pacing may throw one off but don't forget it's her first book ever published!! Definitely a recommendation and a good support to a novice author
