➡️ book & audiobook review ⬅️ Finally we get to know Connors and Dreds story. This is a story with all the emotions on display. Let's talk about the banter, the chemistry and naturally about the spice. I felt the chemistry between Dred and Connor between the lines of some books, and let's be honest it is a tough thought specifically Dred being Flips best friend and the guy being Conners "worst" enemy. So it's easy for me to feel the high chemistry between them right in the beginning of this book (hello sparks). And even when they could assume feeling more for each other than friendship they truly have this bonding over Meems. (Just a little moment for this woman and how she manages Connor? I want to become her one day myself. ) I love how Dred and Connor evolve through this book even with all the ups and downs and growling on the knees (figuratively speaking). Some lessons need to be learned the hard way... Oh, and the spice is on top. Best Moment on the wedding night with the shots. Best LOL-Moment with Dred's sliping of Rix' and Tristians kitchen moment from "If you hate me" (readers know what I mean). conclusion: Sweet love story with a hockey player/billionaire who falls first and a fierce heroine who knows what she's willing to have. audiobook: The audiobook is narrated in a duet which means every female talk part is narrated by a female voice and the male by a male voice. I like this duet form better than the normal narration because it is easier to follow the speakers and make me understand simpler who's talking what. The voices fit perfectly into each character in the book and specifically the protagonists. Hearing all the words made me feel the story more intense than reading them (but I felt them both ways). For all non native English listeners: This audiobook is easy to follow and to understand. info: This is the 5th in the Toronto Terror Series.
