My dark Romeo. Ediz. italiana

Ich liebe den Humor der Autorin. Das Buch war ein bisschen wie ein Unfall - es ist zum Haareraufen, aber man kann trotzdem nicht weggucken. Wurde bestens unterhalten, auch wenn es natürlich an manchen Stellen etwas überzogen ist.

But you cannot repair something that is already in pieces." - S. 354 Dallas und Romeo sind vielleicht kein Traumpaar aber verdammt viel Chemie. Dallas ist etwas naiv. Aber durchaus eine Kämpferin. Mutig, einfach sie selbst, loyal und sagt was sie denkt. Romeo ist kalt abweisend und hinterlistig. Auch er sagt was er denkt begleitet von den Schatten der Vergangenheit. Er ist ambitioniert aber auf Rache aus. Eine bitter süße Kombination. Voll von Trauma, Narben aber auch Witz, süßen Momenten und spice. Charakterentwicklung incoming. Es geht auch sehr darum für sich selbst zu kämpfen, selbst wenn das heißt sich selbst zu hinterfragen und ehrlich zu sein. Es ist dark, es ist fragwürdig und nicht wie die anderen Bücher der Autorin aber definitiv mit einem Sog den ich liebe.

Spannend, lustig einfach super zu lesen. Habe es verschlungen. Schöne Geschichte. Wir sich alles ergibt. Anfangs versteht man Romeo nicht. Nach und nach kommt vieles heraus warum er so ist wie er ist. Dallas ist fantastisch lustig und erfinderisch.

I don’t think you understand what I’m saying when I say I absolutely ADORED this book. Being an absolute enemies to lovers lover I binged this book in about 6 hours today and I cannot say that I regret it one bit. The characters are so incredibly interesting and immediately lulled me into their presence. Dallas and Romeo certainly had their differences and doubtable actions but honestly? It was everything one could wish for! There was angst, passion, tension, crackling wrath and for me it was definitely one of my best romance reads ever. Not only because I fell in love with Dallas and Romeo but also with Zach and Oliver. The amount of laughter I spilled because of this book, because of scenes or interactions with them isn’t even countable. I’m so looking forward to book two and three, which I hope will exist because if Oliver doesn’t get a story? Hell I’ll be throwing tantrums. All in one this book is more than worthy to be picked up at a bookstore, not only because of the astonishing cover but the story behind it.

I was hesitant when I began reading it because I expected something different but I ended up devouring this book. This is a true enemies to lovers with tension you can feel through the pages. I can absolutely recommend it to everyone!
