Dr. Shilpa Sharma is the Head of Department and Professor at the Rachana Sansad’s Academy of Architecture, Mumbai University. She has been practising and teaching in the field of architecture and design for over three decades. Her work on Architectural Requirements of Dance Performances in Hindu Temples in India, awarded a PhD from the RTM Nagpur University. She is currently a member of the Journal of the Indian Institute of Architects (JIIA) and the Chairperson of the IIA Board of Education and Examination, and of the IIA Research and Development Committee. She is a member of the Board of Studies of the Savitribai Phule Pune University.

Dr. Binumol Tom is a renowned academician as well as an architect with over 28 years of experience. She obtained her PhD from SPA, JNTU, Hyderabad, and holds a Level 5 Certificate in Management and Leadership from the Chartered Management Institute, UK. Her expertise lies in architectural conservation, and she has worked on prestigious projects like the conservation of the British Residency at Osmania University Campus, Koti, the preparation of Architectural guidelines for Alleppey, the conservation of mural paintings, and documentation of heritage pan India. She has delivered lectures at various national and international forums and continues to inspire students as a professor in the Department of Architecture at Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology.

Prof. Vinit Mirkar is Principal at the Indian Education Society’s (IES) College of Architecture, Mumbai University. He has been involved in both, the education and the practice of architecture for nearly three decades. He is currently pursuing PhD on Evolution of Vernacular Architecture of Konkan Region: Case study of Ratnagiri District from Jamia Millia Islamia University, New Delhi. He also holds a Post-graduate Diploma in Environmental Architecture. He is Chairperson of the IIA Publication Board and Editor of the Journal of the Indian Institute of Architects (JIIA) and also co-chairs the IIA Board of Education and Examination, and the IIA Research and Development Committee. He has been a Member Representative from IIA on the ARCASIA Committee for Architectural Education (ACAE). He is, at present, the General Secretary of the Maharashtra Association of Schools of Architecture(MASA). He has been a member of Boards of Studies for architecture in various universities of Maharashtra.
