Mit Beiträgen von Anna Hepting, Katharina Luise Merkert, Matthias Schnurrenberger, Charlotte von Ulmenstein, Johannes U. Beck, Adrian Marschner, Sonja Thomaier, Wolfgang-Michael Klein, Elisabeth Woehlke, Johanna Possinger und Sarah Jäger. [Family in Church and Theology. New Perspectives] In the present day, there are various forms of family life, practical constellations and ideal images. The theological models of reflection and normative theoretical figures on the topic of »family« are just as diverse. Nevertheless, this topic appears unexpectedly rarely in theological debates on sexuality, marriage for all, gender issues, etc. At the conference, references to the topic of »family« in the various disciplines of theology were explored, lines of development and current debates were reconstructed, different facets of the broad spectrum of »evangelical« were put into perspective, ambivalences were discussed and the contexts and tasks of today's positioning were considered. The format of the conference enabled young theologians in the qualification phase in particular to present their research approaches and results. In addition to exegetical findings and queer theological analyses, dogmatic and ethical reflections, the conference proceedings also bring together contributions on religious studies, film analysis and church-related sociological research
