Be With Me by Gabrielle Sands is the perfect start to the House of Ferraro Series and it’s the story of Mia and Romolo.   I love how this story is an actual enemies-to-lovers mafia romance and it truly had Romeo and Juliet vibes. Mia loves fashion and is a stylist and she has such a big heart and tries to see the best in people. Her dad is campaigning to be the next mayor of New York City and he wants to rid the city of all criminals, especially the mob like the Ferraro family.   Romolo is a Ferraro through and through and he works for the family and is best at digging up dirt about their enemies. He’s seen as a playboy and heartbreaker but so much more is behind that, and I liked seeing him vulnerable. The flashback chapter was just heartbreaking and showed what Romolo went through and I just wanted to give him a hug and I’m so glad he found Mia and his happiness. I love how he became obsessed with Mia and these two know how to push each other’s buttons. And let me tell you all the berry references were so hot.   The author is my queen of mafia romances and each of her books just gets better and better. I inhaled this book and couldn’t put it down and I’m just obsessed with Mia and Romolo. They were so different but that only ignited the sparks, and I loved how Mia never gave up on them and encouraged Romolo to love again. The plot has the perfect mixture of intrigue, thrill, and very delicious spice.   Be With Me is just the epitome of the perfect enemies-to-lovers mafia romance and needless to say this is my new favorite Gabrielle Sands book. 5+ stars.   (Thank you to the author for providing me with an arc.)

my gosh Gabrielle, I literally adore all of your books but this one? 1000/10, IT WAS EVERYTHING AND I ALREADY WAMT TO REREAD IT!! I literally could not put this down, I always love the evolution of a man going from being a huge olayboy to being so whipped he'd do quite literally anything for his love. And romolo fulfilled that role so perfectly, he was so attentive, sweet and obsessed!! (I mean, he did technically steal and keep her lipstick because he could stop thinking about her but still) His past is the saddest thing and Rom deserves so much love: ( Mia is also such a sweet character, you can't help but love her because she has such an open mind and won't judge a character based on rumours. She is trusting to a fault but that's also what makes her so special! Their chemistry was perfect, I love the silent battle they both had to face to try and stay away from each other because obviously with her father being a politician (kinda) and him being in the mob, they're doomed and couldn't really exist together. The stolen glances and the way they both fell was truly the highlight fir me, I only have wonderful things to say about this book! (I really could not put it down, it's that good!!) this was the perfect start to the new series and I'm so excited to read the next books, great things are coming out way!! I'm a sucker for the good girl X bad guy trope every time, especially when she's just supposed to be a "target", a means to an end Ich konnte es wirklich nicht aus der Hand legen. Ich liebe einfach diese Entwicklung, wenn ein Typ vom Playboy zu komplett verknallt und loyal wird, und Romolo hat diese Rolle einfach perfekt erfüllt. Er war so aufmerksam, süß und besessen! (Er hat übrigens ihren lip gloss geklaut und behalten, weil er nicht aufhören konnte, an sie zu denken, iconic.) Seine Vergangenheit ist so traurig, Rom verdient so viel Liebe. Und Mia ist auch so ein Herzensmensch. Man kann sie gar nicht nicht mögen, sie ist so offen, urteilt nicht nach Gerüchten und hat einfach ein riesiges Herz. Sie ist manchmal zu vertrauensvoll, aber genau das macht sie besonders. Ihre chenistry war PERFEKT. Diese gestohlenen Blicke, die stille Sehnsucht, der Versuch, Abstand zu halten… ich hab’s geliebt. Weil sie die Tochter eines Politikers ist und er in der Mafia ist es natürlich keine einfache Lovestory, aber genau das hat es so spannend gemacht. Das war der perfekte Auftakt für die neue Reihe und ich freu mich jetzt schon riesig auf die nächsten Bücher. Ich bin einfach ein Fan vom „Good Girl x Bad Guy“-Trope – besonders wenn sie ursprünglich nur ein Ziel war, ein Mittel zum Zweck. Fazit: Ich hab’s geliebt. Punkt.
