I absolutely love this book. The story is soo cool. The setting breathtaking. It is a mix out of "Harry Potter" + "Fourth Wing" + Vampires. But it is still unique. Highly recommendable. Can not wait to read the second book.

Das Cover passt perfekt. Der Schreibstil ist flüssig. Das ist sehr angenehm, da ist das Lesen ein Genuss. Man kann das Buch einfach nicht aus der Hand legen.
Ein actionreicher Auftakt in einer Schule der Vampire, der schnelle Spannung mit klaren Figuren verbindet und eine dunkle, jugendlich-dynamische Atmosphäre bietet. Die Vampirwelt an der Bloodwing Academy wirkt stimmig und packend. Schulstrukturen, Blutsiegel und heimliche Machtspiele geben der Handlung eine plausible Grundlage. Die Protagonistinnen und Protagonisten sind sympathisch und zielstrebig. Ihre persönlichen Ziele, Unsicherheiten und Loyalitäten verleihen der Geschichte Tiefe. Magische Fähigkeiten und politische Intrigen treiben den Plot voran. Die Balance zwischen Machtspielen und persönlicher Entwicklung sorgt für Spannungsmomente.Die Erzählung bleibt durchgehend dynamisch. Kämpfe, Verfolgungsjagden und überraschende Wendungen halten das Lesen flüssig. Düster, aber zugänglich; jugendliche Energie mischt sich mit dunkleren Motivationen, was die Lektüre frisch und fesselnd macht.
