In any case, technology has advanced in order to improve people's living conditions. However, the extent to which this can be harmful and put the individual's integrity at risk must be taken into account. It is up to the plastic surgeon and the other members of a health team to check the mental conditions of plastic surgery patients, since the prevalence of image disorders in this population is high.
