Portrait

Dr. Raneesh Balakrishnan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics at Catholicate College, Kerala, India, with ten years of experience in this field. He holds a Ph.D. in Physics from the Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala. His research interests include multiferroics, nanoelectronics, and polymer nanocomposites, focusing on energy harvesting, storage, and biomedical applications. Dr. Raneesh has authored over 35 peer-reviewed articles, contributed to ten book chapters, and co-edited eight books. He has led three major research projects, including one funded by the SERB Early Career Research Award, and has supervised PhD scholars. His international collaborations include institutions such as the Université de Lorraine, France, and the Institute of Physics, Belgrade, Serbia. He  is also a Lifetime Member of the Electron Microscope Society of India.

Ms. Rubiya Mohammed is a Ph.D. candidate at Lakehead University, Ontario, Canada. She received her bachelor's and master's degrees in Physics from Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, Kerala, India. Her current research focuses on investigating induced magnetoelectric effects in nanocomposite ferrites for applications in microwave electronics.

Dr. Nebu George Thomas is a professor in periodontics and a scientist in charge of Stem cell and tissue engineering lab at Pushpagiri Research Centre and a senior consultant in the field of regenerative periodontal surgery and dental implantology. His research mainly focuses on tissue engineering, cell engineering, periodontal regeneration, bone remodelling, and wound healing. He successfully developed bioactive and smart’ injectable biomaterial systems that dynamically interact with the implantation site to elicit regeneration within hard and soft tissues. He has expertise in the synthesis and characterization of 3D-printed bioactive glass/polylactic acid composite for bone regeneration, which is currently in progress. Also, he got expertise in animal models for assessing tissue integration and regenerative potential of various scaffolds making use of nanoscience and nanotechnology approaches.

Dr. Yogesh Bharat Dalvi is Highly Experienced Research Scientist with over 10 years of experience in both basic and translational research, particularly in regenerative medicine. He has a proven track record of working in both academic and healthcare settings. He is skilled in tissue engineering, biotechnology, and molecular biology. His expertise includes standardizing various in vitro and in vivo models according to OECD and ISO guidelines, maintaining cell lines and related assays, performing rodent surgery, and knowledge in small animal suturing, blood collection, drug administration, and tumor allograft models.
