Tourist Season ist der erste Band in Brynne Weavers neuen Trilogie. Ich hab’s so geliebt! Harper und Nolan sind so interessante Charaktere, die viel durchlebt haben und als Nolan in Cape Carnage ankommt, um seine Rache zu bekommen für seinen Bruder, scheint doch nicht alles so zu laufen, wie es sollte! Die Plottwists sind so unerwartet und auch das Andocken an die Geschehnisse im ersten Buch, war eine tolle Idee! Die Nebencharaktere kann man auch nur lieben, sei es Arthur oder Morpheus! Ich bin so gespannt, was als nächstes passiert nach diesem Cliffhanger!!

Das Buch hat an sich eine nette, abgedrehte Story. Mal was erfrischend anderes. Es ist makaber, hat Humor und sehr spezielle Charaktere. So weit, so gut. Aber dann in der Mitte des Buches wusste die Autorin sich wohl nicht mehr anders zu helfen, hat die Story hart abflachen lassen und sich lieber ausgiebig den Sexszenen gewidmet. Zum Ende gab's dann plötzlich nochmal eine Überraschung und einen wirklich guten Cliffhanger, der wohl zu Band 2 überleiten soll.... Aber nein danke. Mich hat die Autorin verloren - was mich ärgert, weil wirklich mega Potential in dem Buch steckt. Aber die Story wurde mittendrin soo unglaublich flach und billig, dass mich nichts dazu bringen könnte, Teil 2 zu kaufen. Ich hoffe, die Autorin entwickelt sich weiter und setzt in kommenden Büchern stärker auf die Story....
