I still need to say that this series is great, specially because it's fiction. I hope that I'll never cross paths with people like this in real life, that's why I recommend thus series only to people overage (18+). Okay, this book starts a month after the events in the first book of the duet. We're still have both POVs (Emery and Cameron) but now we got even an "Unknown" POV. I'm still not right sure what I think about that revelations but sure they'll make sense in future books in this world. Now let's go deeper into the characters. Trying not to spoiler anything, after what happened in the first book to Emery, she's facing some difficulties and makes some changes. It's totally understandable and she passes through tough momentum. She's different now, but still has some of her sweet traits. Cameron is the one with the most changes from Book 1 page 1 of the duet till now. He's still that fearsome guy, but showed us that he could be bent into a better version. But it's still a lot of work in here. At least I could get a little warmer with him. About spice... It's like in the first one and you have plenty of such scenes. The chemistry between Em and Cam is still there and boiling hot. The storyline is relatable and I always knew where in the story I was.
