Dieses Buch ist herausragend, berührend und lustig geschrieben. Die liebes Geschichte zwischen Yulian und Vaughn hat mich wirklich ans Buch gefesselt. Ich habe das Buch innerhalb von zwei Tagen durchgelesen und war sehr traurig, als es vorbei war.

Ich kann gar nicht in Worte fassen, wie unfassbar toll ich dieses Buch fand. Seit einem Jahr warte ich auf Yulian und Vaughn und sie haben mich wirklich 24/7 eingenommen. Die Teaser in KTV haben gereicht, dass ich mich sofort in sie verliebt habe. Als ich das Buch dann endlich las und dann direkt nochmals las, konnte ich mich gar nicht mehr einkriegen. Ihre Geschichte war so herzzerreissend und perfekt und alles war noch besser, als ich es mir hätte vorstellen können. Die Hintergründe der Protagonisten haben mich wirklich auseinandergenommen und die Obession, die sie zum jeweils anderen hatten, war einfach fantastisch. Auch die kleinen Details in ihrer Beziehung, haben dieses Buch zu einer meiner liebsten Liebesgeschichten gemacht. Ich empfehle es jedem, der bereit auf ein absolut emotionales Highlight ist, das einem nie mehr aus dem Kopf gehen wird. Vaughn und Yulian sind für immer in meinem Herz eingeschlossen und ich weiss nicht, ob es jemals wieder einen Tag geben wird, an dem ich nicht an sie denken❤️

An incredibly gripping and emotional read! I am giving this a strong 4.4 stars because the character dynamics and depth completely blew me away. I absolutely loved Yulian. So relatable! He is such a compelling character, and my heart broke for him throughout the story. His deeply rooted need to not be the "second choice" in Vaughn’s life added so much raw, realistic emotional weight to their relationship. The slow-burn tension and explosive chemistry between them kept me turning pages late into the night and I’ve read it in like 5/6 hours. Their dynamic is complex, messy, and beautifully intense. What I also truly appreciated was how seriously the author handled the theme of homophobia. It wasn't just used as a cheap plot device; it was treated with the gravity, realism, and respect it deserves, making the characters' struggles and triumphs feel so much more meaningful. The only reason it’s not a full 5 stars is that the pacing felt a little rushed toward the end, but overall, this is a phenomenal, thought-provoking MM romance. (And honestly, nothing can beat Kayden and Gareth)… Highly recommended!!

This book pulled me in immediately. From the first chapter, the tension between Yulian and Vaughn is already very present, which made it impossible to put down. I loved that they meet right away, and the summer camp setting at age 15 added a really intense, almost raw and very chaotic teenage feeling to the story. The time jump to the age 19 gave it even more depth. Yulian really grew on me, while Vaughn frustrated me at times, but their development felt natural. I really liked that the further I read, the more it became clear that the obsession is mutual. that Yulian is not the only one who has his lover trapped in a web. The angst was there, especially with Yulian’s past, but I wish it had been explored more deeply. It didn’t reach the same emotional impact as Kiss the Villain for me, but in terms of connection between both, I preferred Yulian and Vaughn to Gareth and Kayden. Still, it was incredibly addictive and I had to force myself to read it slowly. I ended up reading the whole thing in three days. Definitely a recommendation for the people that didn't like KTV at all — hunt the villain is so different and I get why a lot of people like hunt the villain way more.

Dieses Buch war eindeutig eine 5/5, ich würde sogar sagen 5,5/5. Mega tolles setting, Yulian ist absolut iconic und die beiden passen zu perfekt zusammen. Ich will keine Beschwerden hören, da das Buch mlm ist. Die Chemie der Charaktere ist einfach absolut perfekt, ich kann es nur empfehlen.
