Till Summer Do Us Part

Scottie comes to New York after the divorce to start anew. She starts a great job in the financial industry and is confronted with a lot of happily married male colleagues. And when her boss Ellison asks her about the weekend, she talks about her husband. Without a wedding ring, however, she has to admit that things are going badly right now. And because Ellison's husband is a famous couples therapist, she arranges an appointment with Sander directly for Scottie. Actually, her gay boyfriend Mika would like to offer himself, but he doesn't have time, so he sends his brother Wilder. But Wilder has just sold his app and is bored and uses the therapy session as improv acting. And so the two find themselves in a relationship camp with some colleagues... We follow both of them in turn. Scottie is smart, but her marriage to Matt has ruined her and so she lets herself be drawn further and further into improv acting. Wilder doesn't believe in relationships, is too intelligent, but incredibly loyal. It's incredibly funny how the two of them get up in the therapy sessions and Scottie can get rid of her resentment, but I also found that Wilder was very annoying at the beginning because he was just thinking about having fun. But the rapprochement is very successful again and it's nice how they actually open up. The book is captivating, very entertaining, but you have to be a bit open-minded when it comes to spice, not that there are so many scenes here, but the two were accommodated in a very special room...
