This book is a comprehensive treatise on the entire content of Islam written by Javed Ahmad Ghamidi. Javed Ahmed Ghamidi also wrote a summary of Meezan in the form of a concise book named Al-Islam. In this book, Ustaz Javed Ahmed Ghamidi writes, "To Allah, Deen is only Islam. In my book, I have considered what I have considered as a religion, from the study and research of at least the quarter-century. Think of each of his departments as a result of the favor of the Lord and the benefit of the thought of my Jalil-ul-Qadr teacher, Imam Amin Ahsan Islahi. If you see something weak in it, add it to my deficiency of knowledge." Various topics included are Imaniyaat, Qanoon E Ibaadat, Aqlaqiat, Qanoon E Moashiraat, Qanoon E Siasat, Qanoon E Jihaad, etc. The Arabic translation of this seminal work was skillfully undertaken by Dr. Mohammad Ghitreef (Shahbaz Nadwi), a renowned Islamic scholar, author, and translator. Dr. Ghitreef's deep understanding of Islamic scholarship, combined with his linguistic expertise, has brought this comprehensive treatise to the Arabic-speaking world. His translation not only captures the essence of Ghamidi's work but also reflects his dedication to bridging the gap between traditional Islamic thought and contemporary intellectual needs. With a background in both traditional madrasa education and modern academic studies, Dr. Ghitreef's efforts ensure that this work reaches a wider audience, enriching the discourse on Islam in the Arab world. Javed Ahmad Ghamidi is a distinguished Islamic scholar, author, and educator from Pakistan, widely recognized for his deep understanding of Islamic teachings and his commitment to fostering a comprehensive view of Islam's core principles. Born in 1951, Ghamidi was influenced by his mentor, Amin Ahsan Islahi, a leading disciple of the renowned scholar Hamiduddin Farahi. Over the years, Ghamidi has cultivated a unique approach to Islamic thought, combining rigorous scholarship with a focus on contemporary relevance. Ghamidi is the founder of Al-Mawrid Institute of Islamic Sciences, an organization dedicated to the research, education, and dissemination of Islamic knowledge. He is currently Principal Research Fellow and Chief Patron at the Ghamidi Center of Islamic Learning in the United States. His seminal work, Meezan, provides a comprehensive analysis of Islamic beliefs, practices, and ethics, embodying his commitment to clarity, intellectual rigor, and rational inquiry. This and other works have established him as a respected authority in the Islamic world. In addition to Meezan, Ghamidi has authored numerous books and articles on various facets of Islam, including Islam: A Concise Introduction, a simplified summary of Meezan.
