Dr. Rajeev Kumar Kapoor is an associate professor of microbiology at Maharshi Dayanand University. He has a strong background in academia, research, and patent-related activities. Dr. Kapoor obtained his Ph.D. in microbiology from the University of Delhi South Campus and has made significant contributions to the field. He is involved in teaching postgraduate students at Maharshi Dayanand University, focusing on industrial enzymes. He is also involved in patent filing and prosecution, bridging the gap between academia and industry. Dr. Kapoor has had international exposure, including working as a visiting scientist at the University of Arkansas, USA. Dr Kapoor has received several prestigious awards, and he has published various manuscripts/articles in peer-reviewed international journals and has authored many book chapters.

Dr. Kalavathy Rajan is an assistant professor of fiber and biopolymers at Texas Tech University. With over 9 years of research experience, she has worked in prestigious institutions such as the University of Arkansas and the University of Tennessee. Her research focuses on enzymatic saccharification, chemical fractionation of bioactive compounds, and the development of bio-based products from renewable feedstocks. Dr. Rajan has received several awards, including the ICAR International Fellowship and the Navajbai Ratan Tata fellowship. She has published numerous peer-reviewed articles and serves as a panel reviewer for U.S. federal grants. Her dedication to sustainability and comprehensive biomass utilization exemplifies her position as a distinguished researcher and educator in the field of fiber and biopolymers.
