So far, I've read all of Pulley's books, now looking forward to the new publication. This book has been extremely captivating as always, with a wild mix of history and mystic imaginations, told in the usual slightly sarcastic style. A wonderful read that I can absolutely recommend!

I went into this book not wholly certain what to expect, but immensely excited nonetheless. I loved it, it was both devastating and wonderful and most things in between, some lines stood out for their emotional gut-punch, some because they were plain delightful. The prose and writing style are wonderful, the recurring themes are great, I cried and laughed and maybe feared for my heart in some parts but this book easily joins the ranks of my favourites. It's tragic and happy and gripping and human 5/5

I bought this book without even checking what it was about, just seeing Dionysus on the cover was enough. Dionysus is one of my favorite greek gods, of course I had to read this. And it was quite fun! It's not your typical mythological retelling, which I quite enjoyed, though the characters were a bit confusing at times. That said, the main character was amazing. I liked him a lot, the way he told the story and his personality were amazing and a breath of fresh air.
