Katherine's plan is to teach her mom the proper moral and niminy-piminy attitudes and behavior that will insure she is accepted back into her old town and settle down into a routine that will avoid bringing scandal to the family! Each looked forward to this arrangement with a bit of hesitation. As you'll see, this hesitation was justified.
