The pages of this book are divided into topics with titles that revolve around the creations of Professor Ali Ahmed Bakathir, who is known to those concerned with literature in its various forms: the story, the novel, and the play, in its various forms and purposes, as the general public knows him - hypothetically - through what he wrote for cinema and radio. And to the press... which means - in the end - that we are with "Bakathir" facing a creative personality, broad-minded, and very active, who never stops experimenting with artistic forms in particular, and in the arts of theater, in particular.
In various critical contexts, the areas of artistic, realistic, and behavioral (freedom) that this writer embraced seem to prevail over his other tendencies, which are due, in their entirety, to his literary commitment, the gentleness of his morals, and the purity of his confidentiality. As for the demands of art - especially in the field of theater - Bakathir gave them everything they needed to add to his plays: vitality, suspense, realism, keeping up with nature, and going beyond nature as well... which requires us to re-contemplate... re-interpret... re-imagine limits. It can be described - in creativity - as "Islamic".
