Part essay, part science book, part history book... John Green may have become famous for his YA novels, but it is in non-fiction where he really shines. I learned a lot, but this isn't a dry or preachy book. Instead, it's extremely compelling and at times deeply emotional. I cried, I laughed, and I will be recommending it to everyone I meet.

This book is very well written. It is very informative and also captivating. I definitely recommend reading this book. If you are someone impacted by racism, please be aware that this could be a triggering read, as it describes inequality and injustice.
