Dieses Buch hat mich tief berührt. White Nights erzählt eine leise Geschichte, die nicht laut sein muss, um Wirkung zu zeigen. Die Gefühle sind fein beschrieben und wirken sehr echt.
Der Stil ist ruhig und fließend, sodass man das Buch fast in einem Atemzug liest. Gleichzeitig möchte man sich Zeit lassen, um die Gedanken auf sich wirken zu lassen.
Es ist eines dieser Bücher, die man nicht einfach zuklappt und vergisst. Für mich war es eine wunderschöne Lektüre.

White Nights is the first book I read by Dostoyevsky and not gonna lie - it felt kind of weird. It's written really well and easy to read, but I personally found the long monologues very long and sometimes mentally draining. The topics Dostoyevsky talks about are still very important despite the book being old and I recommend it for anyone who wants to self-reflect a little.
