Portrait

Marco Tostado-Véliz is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Jaén, Spain. He received a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering (with Hons.) in 2016 and Masters degree in 2017, both from the University of Seville, Spain, and obtained his PhD degree in 2020 from the University of Jaén, Spain. His primary research interests include smart grids, numerical methods for power system analysis, optimization of energy communities, multi-energy systems modelling, and computing tools for home energy management systems.

Ahmad Rezaee Jordehi is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Rasht Branch, Islamic Azad University, Iran. An experienced researcher in electrical power systems, smart grids, and renewable energy technologies, he has taught courses on smart grids and renewable energy to graduate students for several years, and his work has been cited over 5,500 times. He received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in electrical power engineering from Shahid Chamran University, Iran, in 2002 and 2005 respectively, and received his PhD in electrical power engineering from University Putra Malaysia, Selangor, Malaysia, in 2014. Dr. Rezaee Jordehi is an editorial board member of IET Renewable Power Generation and the International Journal of Metaheuristics, and is an IEEE member.

Seyed Amir Mansouri is a Researcher based at Comillas Pontifical University, Spain. He received Bachelor, MS, and PhD degrees in Electrical Engineering in 2014, 2017 and 2020 respectively, all from Azad University, in Iran. His primary research interests include renewable energy technologies, smart grids, and microgrids.

Dr. Andrés Ramos is currently a Full Professor at the ETS de Ingeniería ICAI in the Department of Industrial Organization and at the Institute for Technological Research, where he serves as Director, at Comillas Pontifical University, Spain. He was previously Director of the MBA in Global Energy Industry (2015-20) at Comillas Pontifical University and Director of the Department of Industrial Organization (1999-2008). Prof. Ramos has also been Visiting Professor at Stanford University in California (USA), the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (USA), and Aalborg University (Denmark). He serves as a reviewer for international journals and conferences, and as an evaluator for the National Agency for Evaluation and Prospective (ANEP). His areas of interest include the exploitation, planning, and economics of electric power systems, the application of operations research, and software development. He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses on the application of quantitative methods to improve decision-making and data analysis.

Francisco Jurado has been a Professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Jaén, Spain, since 1985. His current research interests include power systems, modeling, and renewable energy. He is a Senior Member of the IEEE.
