I’m so glad I decided to start this book! In 2024, I found myself in a major reading slump, but when I spotted this title on the “Stuff Your Kindle Day” list, it immediately caught my eye. Although I was a bit unsure about the story during the first two chapters, it didn’t take long for it to completely draw me in. The author’s writing style is engaging, and I loved how the two main characters developed throughout the story. Sarah had me convinced the plot was heading in one direction, only to completely surprise me—and I loved it! Knowing she’s a smaller indie author made me even more determined to write this review because she truly deserves all the attention. I can’t wait to dive into Aaron’s story next!
