Amy Neff hat mit “The days I loved you most” meiner Meinung nach das schönste Buch der Welt geschrieben. Noch nie habe ich so viele Emotionen spüren dürfen wie mit diesem Buch. Ein Zusammenspiel aus Euphorie, Melancholie, tiefer Trauer, Verlust, Zusammenhalt und Kummer. Eine Liebesgeschichte, aber noch mehr eine Familengeschichte. Amy hat einen wunderschönen Stil, umschreibt jede Situation perfekt. Atemberaubend!

Selten habe ich so ein bewegendes Buch gelesen. Die Erzählweise, die verschiedenen Sichtweisen und Momentaufnahmen aus dem langen Leben von Joseph und Evelyn sind meiner Meinung nach ein Meisterwerk. Die Darstellung einer scheinbar perfekten Beziehung, die dennoch einige Auf und Abs erleben musste, ist der Autorin grandios gelungen. Eine klare Empfehlung!
