Dating and Dragons

As a DnD player I was already happy to read "Dungeons and Drama", which was cute. This one was even better! More DnD-related stuff and a really nice lovestory with endearing characters. I've waited the whole time for the inevitable mess before the happy end and other cliches in a romance but... Well, this was different in a very pleasant way. I'm nothing but happy about the characters and their stories. I can totally recommend to read it :) I'm already excited about the next one which shall be released this year.

Utterly charming main characters that were so good for each other. The gaming scenes were so much more in-depth than in the first book and I was able to connect a bit more with the characters emotionally which I wholeheartedly enjoyed. Conclusion: Dating & Dragons was just as sweet as the first one and the characters felt more realistic this time around. And since they are companion novels, you can read this one without having read the other one. Yay! When Quinn has to change school she is excited about the new start, but apprehensive when it comes to having to find new friends. So when the opportunity arises to join a party of Dungeons & Dragons, she is more than excited. Especially because Logan, the cute and charming guy she met on her first day is a part of that group. The group livestreams their D&D sessions and has strict rules when it comes to joining; no phones and no dating other party-members. But when Logan hears of Quinn joining, he starts being less sweet and more so insufferable. Their bickering, bantering (and flirting) intensifies and outside of the games they start spending more and more time with eachother. So what is the real reason for Logan's infuriating behaviour?

Nachdem Quinn alles verloren hat, was ihr wichtig war bekommt sie einen Neustart. Und wie der Zufall es so will stolpert sie mehr oder weniger direkt in eine neue Dungeons and Dragons Gruppe. Doch sie weiss ganz genau, wenn sie nicht gut genug aufpasst, wird ihr wieder alles um die Ohren fliegen... Wir bekommen hier eine echt coole D&D-Gruppe und einige intensive Runden geboten. Die Liebesgeschichte war hier für mich etwas schwächer, aber trotzdem hatte ich jede Menge Spass beim Lesen!
