Finger Licking Good Horror
This novel wonderfully and gruesomely explores the mother - daughter relationship and what happens when this bond isn't enough to satiate a mother's hunger for love. Margot's coming-of-age story is full of folklore inspired by the beautiful English countryside surrounding the cottage she grows up in, and hints of fairytale, the kind with witches devouring lost children and no happy ending.
