The Editors: Vittorina Cecchetto teaches Italian and Linguistics at McMaster University in Canada. Her research interests include the genesis of immigrant contact languages in a multicultural society, the linguistic and identity problems of first and second generation immigrants, didactic stereotyping in second language instruction and language attrition in the aging immigrants.
Magda Stroińska teaches Linguistics and German at McMaster University in Canada. Her major areas of research include cross-cultural and interpersonal communication, cognitive linguistics, language of propaganda and problems of communication in the aging multicultural population.
