I love how one of my favorite online illustrators published her own book! It's beautifully designed and rightfully won in the category Best Design, with a coordinated color theme of pinks and blues throughout. The book made me laugh more than once. As a former dating-app-swipee, I find the poems extremely relatable. Getting your hopes up, brief phases of infatuation, a lot of confusion, bucketloads of disappointment, all hidden under clever analogies, polished with sarcasm and a healthy dose of humor. The author uses clever analogies to "illustrate" how relationships with folks from the apps develop and what one can expect. Whether you're looking for love of healing from heartbreak, this book will boost your mood, that's for sure.
