Court of the Vampire Queen A Paranormal Reverse Harem Romance

Mina wants nothing more than to be free, but her father Cornelius has completely different plans for her. In contrast to her father, a bloodline vampire with magical powers and ruler of a compound, she is an ordinary dhampir without any magical powers. In order to have any benefit from her existence, he sends her to Malachi, another bloodline vampire he has under his control.  She is intended to serve Malachi as a living food source and bear his child, who will inherit his powers so that Cornelius can gain complete control over the bloodline power. Whether she dies or not is of no concern to her father, as long as he becomes even more powerful. But he did not expect that the two would fall in love and together with two other bloodline vampires, Wolf & Rylan,  find a way out of the reign of his terror. And Mina doesn't seem to be as magic-less as she previously thought... Aside from the fact that they solve all their problems with sex, the story itself is pretty good. Only at the end you somehow get the feeling that the book just rushed to an end without any further ado. In the beginning there was worldbuilding and you really understood the main character Mina and her desire to simply be free. That only sex is the solution to her problems is clear in a spicy dark romance book, but the ending was just too rushed. Overall, the story was really good and something for anyone looking for a relaxing book with a lot of spice for in between. -recommended for ages 18 and up

I bought this book because it was so hyped. But honestly, I don't see the hype for it. The book has a lot of spicy scenes from the beginning and a little less plot. I didn't mind that at all. I would give this book 3,5 Stars. so if you love spicy scenes, I can recommend it but if you like slow burn and not too much spice, I wouldn't recommend it.

"Court of the Vampire Queen" ist hauptsächlich Erotik mit ein bisschen Plot. Eine Lektüre, um sich einfach zu entspannen und fallen zu lassen. Auch wenn die Geschichte weniger "drumherum" hat, als andere in diesem Genre, ist sie tatsächlich sehr gut geschrieben und hat mir beim Lesen wirklich Spaß gemacht. Wichtig zu Wissen: Es ist Dark-Romance, dementsprechend bitte die Triggerwarnungen beachten :)

Um ehrlich zu sein, mochte ich das Buch nicht so gerne. Es hatte für mich einfach keinen richtigen, zusammenhängenden Inhalt und das fande ich sehr schade. Dafür war sehr viel Spice dabei (wogegen ich nichts habe), aber es hat mich einfach nicht so gecatcht.

Okay, eigentlich bin ich ein echter Fan von der Autorin. Noch dazu klingt der Klappentext verdammt gut. Leider war der Rest nicht so überzeugend. Mina ist zwar eine starke Kämpferin,allerdings ohne den Glauben an das Gute und möchte frei sein. Zu ihr gesellen sich dann drei Männer: Malachin, Wolf und Rylan. Alle drei auf ihre Weise anders bzw. besonders, und die Beziehung zwischen ihnen ist eine Eigenheit. Es hat also verdammt viel Potenzial, tolle Antagonisten und so viele Möglichkkeiten. nur kam da einfach nichts. Keine wirklich Story, keine Tief aber dafür einen overload an Sex. War das nötig? Nop, meiner Meinung nach nicht. Das hat einfach so viel Raum eingenommen, dass für eine Charakterentwicklung und Story einfach kein Platz mehr war. Schade.
