To be honest, Liz and Wes had me hooked from page one. I loved their bickering, the banter, the teasing, the tension, the yearning — basically everything about this book. This was my second read by Lynn Painter, and it’s definitely my favorite rom‑com I’ve picked up so far. A full 5 out of 5 stars… because we have WES‑effing‑BENNETT *__*

ach was soll ich sagen...ich liebe dieses buch und es ist auch eines meiner lieblingsbücher. schön geschrieben, lustige charaktere und eine geschichte in die man sich verliebt. wer wünscht sich denn keinen freund wie wes ;) ein absolutes highlight und den hype verdient!

I am speechless!

I heard nothing but great things so far, so I wanted to read it. And let me tell you, my expectations were high.To be honest I wouldn't consider myself a romance reader, but this book made me question my whole existence and what I have been reading so far. This was amazing! I loved the characters, I loved the quirkiness. It felt so realistic and cute! I keep thinking about Wes and Liz (they live rentfree in my head now) and as soon as I finished the book I wanted to reread it! Yes, it was THAT good. And also the movie references felt so nostalgic to me, I adored it. The romance was cute, the dialogue clever and funny and the banter was amazing! Smiling, smirking or even giggeling while reading are normal for me, but I was laughing out loud, crying because of laughter so many times! Both Liz and Wes own my heart! Go and read this book. It is outstanding.
