She has published widely in the areas of second language and dialect acquisition with child and adolescent language learners. Her recent work includes the award-winning textbook Indigenous Education in Australia (co-edited with Shay, Routledge, 2021).
Li Wei is Director and Dean of the UCL Institute of Education, University College London, where he holds a Chair in Applied Linguistics. He is Fellow of the British Academy, Academia Europaea, Academy of Social Sciences (UK), and Royal Society of Arts (UK). He is an Editor of International Journal of Bilingual Education and Bilingualism and Applied Linguistics Review.
