Ich fand das Buch echt gut, es war emotional und ich musste auch manchmal weinen, weil das was die Hauptcharaktere durchmachen mussten, war so realistisch, da sowas wirklich im Leben geschehen kann. Aber umso schöner war es deren Geschichte zu lesen, wie sie zueinander finden, um ihren Geschwistern zu helfen, aber gleichzeitig eine Art Familie werden und einander innig vertrauen.

This book took my breath away in one of the best ways possible. I loved every second of reading it due to the amazing writing style of the author. It’s a every emotional slow-burn romance that represents adoption, foster care as the problems behind that and complex family relationships. Both of the MCs had their issues and struggles due to their different backgrounds and their experiences in life but then they have both the same goal to get the siblings out of the system. For me personally, the individual healing of both characters was great and definitely an aspect I adored to pieces. And of course the way Warren und Chloe worked as a couple! Readers get a man who worshiped his girl verbal and physical! Another great thing's the found family dynamic between Luke and Chloe. The family was formed through care, trust, joy in each other and the authentic struggles of the system and the world. If you want a book that will give a variety of emotions, this is for you

A lovely and unique love story in the sense of romance, friends and most importantly, family, and what it means to be at home! ️ "I do wonder what he thinks about a night though. If it's me." It was so much fun and wholesome to see Luke and Willow live with them and grow up a little. ️ "Well, I'm going to go to my room now... have fun thanking him, I guess. Just don't do it out here." But @ that 30%, the chemistry really starts to spark and will let you fly through the pages. ️ "His car is as sexy as he is - perhaps more so - and I can't ride Warren to the other side of town after all.
