Who knew a wheelchair-bound MMC could captivate me so profoundly? Yet, after "Me Before You," it seems almost inevitable. While the pace of the plot left me yearning for more depth, and the spicy scenes lacked the sizzle I anticipated—rushed, with little foreplay and abrupt conclusions—the potential for a more nuanced narrative and character development was palpable. Despite these shortcomings, the tender acts of intimacy woven throughout the story were undeniably heartwarming, leaving a lasting impression. One can't help but imagine how much richer the tale could have been with a more expansive exploration. Nonetheless, the beauty of the writing shines through, making it a worthwhile and fun read.
