Funny, witty and spicy read. Definitely the most spicy of her books. I really enjoyed it and read it within 24 hours. I understand that „the knot“ and all this „alpha“ business is not everyones cub of tea, but it’s written to be as healthy as possible considering that Lowe has „alpha instincts“. I think Hazelwood did a great job to portray these two unique characters.

I didn´t expect to like this book as much as I did. As someone who doesn´t usually read fantasy but likes Ali Hazelwood it was quite nice. The characters were (ha!) great and the book had a sweet romance, but also a good amount of intrigue and Mis(t)ery (ha!). It´s worth the read

Ali Hazelwoods first romantasy novel captivated me with her fluid writing style and i also loved the irony and funny comments of the protagonists. This novel combines some of my favorite book tropes like Enemys-to-Lovers, Fated Mates and Arranged Marriage with an awesome story!

For fans of Vampire Diaries and Twilight !!

I think this is my new favorite book by Ali Hazelwood. I find it refreshing that the small headlines before each new chapter give you an insight into Lowe's point of view. I liked that very much. In the beginning, it just seems to be an "arranged marriage", but there are so many surprises. New motives, secret deals, feelings (?), exciting twists and adventures together. If I give you a quote to convince you: Quote from the book that got me giggling: "he used to think all Vampires' eyes looked the same. He may have been wrong about that" (p.36) I've always been a fan of Ali's writing style, the plots and the dark fantasy parts give the book even more status in my ranking.
