Bride

Funny, witty and spicy read. Definitely the most spicy of her books. I really enjoyed it and read it within 24 hours. I understand that „the knot“ and all this „alpha“ business is not everyones cub of tea, but it’s written to be as healthy as possible considering that Lowe has „alpha instincts“. I think Hazelwood did a great job to portray these two unique characters.

I didn´t expect to like this book as much as I did. As someone who doesn´t usually read fantasy but likes Ali Hazelwood it was quite nice. The characters were (ha!) great and the book had a sweet romance, but also a good amount of intrigue and Mis(t)ery (ha!). It´s worth the read

this was very different. more actual fantasy, less typical Ali-Hazelwood's-STEM-romance humour, which i was looking forward to. her range of storytelling skills surprised me. this story with the missing Hazelwood's humour, unfortunately, made the story quite normal, in the end even boring to me.

Ich kann gar nich genau sagen warum aber dieses Buch hat mich gekidnappt und dann für vier Tage gefesselt. Ich habe in jeder freien Minute gelesen, habe zwei mal das nudelwasser überkochen lassen und zwei schlaflose Nächte durchlebt. Es war großartig. Und das hatte ich gar nich erwartet tbh Eine super schöne ungewöhnliche Liebesgeschichte mit Fantasy, Witz, Spice, Leichtigkeit, Spannung, Intrigen, herzerwärmende Charaktere, widerliche Charaktere und irgendwie auch ein bisschen abgefahren — ein wunderbares Gesamtkonstrukt Das holt einen aus jeder leseflaute raus!

Bride by Ali Hazelwood is an absolute masterpiece. This book felt like a warm hug — comforting, funny, emotional, and beautifully written. It was my first English read as a non-native speaker, and I can honestly say it was completely worth it. The language is easy to follow, and Ali Hazelwood’s humor shines in a way that simply can’t be matched in translation. Misery is such an incredible character — strong, complex, and deeply relatable. And Lowe… he’s just hot in every possible way. No words needed. Their chemistry and dynamic made this story even more addictive. I went in with high expectations, but Bride surpassed every single one of them. The characters, the world, the emotions — everything about it just clicked perfectly. It’s one of those rare books that stays with you long after you’ve finished reading.
