Archer's Voice

Whilst Bree tries to start over someplace new, Archer rarely leaves his property at all. When the two of them meet, they form an instant connection. Their tentative friendship gradually develops into something more and along the way they slowly but surely help each other heal. Once again, I have to say that TikTok made me buy it, and I am truly happy about it. "Archer's Voice" is a heart-wrenching book about trauma and grief that had me hooked right from the start. Definitely check the trigger warnings, though. Bree and Archer are likeable and intriguing characters you can't help but root for. It's heart-breaking to read about their pasts and how they shaped and still affect them. They take turns narrating the story and I love the way the author penned that, especially Archer's arc which begins during his childhood. Also, I really love the representation. It's not often that I come across a book with a mute MC, especially in romance novels, so I really appreciate that aspect of the story as well. Furthermore, they actually talk with one another and despite them having to deal with numerous problems, miscommunication isn't one of them - yay! The funny thing about this book is that it's pretty paradoxical - it's both predictable and surprising, slow-paced though captivating, a slow-burn but VERY steamy. Also, there's a villain you just love to hate. I recommend "Archer's Voice" to readers who are looking for books that really hit you in the feels. If you enjoy a steamy romance, appreciate MCs who are part of a minority, and/or love witnessing someone overcoming the traumas of their past, you should definitely read this book.

I genuinely loved this book with all my heart. I binge read this in like 3 days mid exam season. I just didn’t want it to end so badly- I teared up so many times and I’m usually an unhinged reader. I loved Bree sm too. This has become my comfort book. Seriously it’s a solid 10/10. Mia’s storytelling is next level, to the point that if you actually close your eyes it’s as if you’re walking around Pelion. Truly worth the emotional roller coaster. (Only one warning- please read with caution, you risk developing a thing for mute closed-off men)

Was soll ich sagen Leute, einfach nur ein wunderschönes Buch mit einer schönen Entwicklung der Gefühle und Charaktere. Archer hat von vornherein einen Platz in meinem Herzen ergattert und das blieb bis zum Ende auch so. Loooved it

Es ist so ein Gefühlschaos ich kann es garnicht beschreiben. Als ich es angefangen habe zu lesen war es direkt fesselnd ich konnte es garnicht mehr weglegen so spannend und schön und gleichzeitig auch traurig war dieses Buch (man sollte Taschentücher in der Nähe haben) ich liebe dieses Buch so sehr das Archer bis jetzt mein Roman Empire ist ich weiß nicht welche Bookboys noch auf mich zu kommen werden aber Archer wird immer ein besonderen Platz in meinem Herzen haben. Ich empfehle es jedem weiter jeder sollte dieses Buch mal gelesen haben

Nach einer Trennung hat Bree das dringende Bedürfnis nach einem Tapetenwechsel und zieht deshalb in die Kleinstadt Pelion. Dort eingetroffen, trifft sie auf den in sich gekehrten Archer, der seit seiner Kindheit nicht mehr sprechen kann. Bree lässt sich jedoch von Archers In-sich Gekehrtheit nicht abschrecken und findet immer wieder eine Gelegenheit, um sich in sein Leben einzuschleichen. Ein Roman, der anfangs vielleicht wie eine leichte Liebesgeschichte wirkt, entpuppt sich schnell als eine tiefgründige Geschichte, welche unter die Haut geht. Dieses Buch bringt einen nicht nur zum Lachen und Weinen, sondern gibt einem auch die ein oder andere Lebensweisheit mit auf den Weg.
