I liked the first book more but I already knew that it would be hard for the second book to live up to its previous since I really enjoyed that one. But nonetheless, it was a great book with new characters and new tension and relations between them. Maud and Violet are both quite different characters than Robin and Edwin and maybe that is the reason why I didn't like it as much as the first book but that is really up to the reader. But it still gets 4 stars cause I had a great and thrilling story with a few intrigues and some humor which I really liked.
