Fake Dates and Mooncakes The Buzziest Queer YA of 2023

Loved this, really funny and sweet romcom!

I usually don't read a lot of romance, but this was a really cute book! Light and easy read with Fake Dating, lots of food and (most importantly) corgis!

Ich habe das Buch förmlich verschlungen - jede Sekunde davon habe ich geliebt. Mir gefällt vor allem der Aspekt, was für eine grosse Rolle Dylan’s Kultur spielt. Es wird ausgelebt und den Leser;innen, sowie auch Theo, näher gebracht. Ich selbst habe nur noch wenige Berührungspunkte mit meiner Kultur, obwohl ich schon oft in dem Land war; Ich verstehe dadurch Theo’s Situation sehr gut und kann mir das Funkeln in seinen Augen, wenn Dylan ihm etwas erklärt/beibringt, förmlich vorstellen. Sicher ist: würde die Autorin einen zweiten Teil rausbringen, wäre ich der Erste, der ihn kaufen würde ！ Ich würde so gerne mehr von Dylan und Theo’s Romanze sehen - ob ich wohl eine Fanfiction verfassen sollte…？ (eine FF werde ich wohl eher nicht veröffentlichen - doch ein Fan-art wird trotzdem erstellt! Ich kann es nicht abwarten damit anzufangen ~~ ) [@totebebis]

This book is incredible, it's cute, adorable and funny. I really liked the pace it wasn't too fast but also not too slow, It was the perfect pace. I read the book in one sitting because it was such a nice read.Dylan and Theo are really sweet together and I would love to see more of them in the future. The book is so good you wouldn't know its the authors debut work.

I loved it. Its really cute, the protagonists never had to face homophobia, so it makes it a comfort space. It was so captivating, i coud not put it down so i read it in one sitting. Amazing. Definitely a recommendation.
