(Maybe spoiler) The writing style was easy to read, fast to read and understandable. In general, I like the author really much and also read other books from her (which were quite enjoyable) To the characters, Alice (main character) is hugeeee-hearted, smart, badass (not the typical, always insecure type). All her actions are logical and have a motive. I feel soo bad for her in the end, she didn’t deserve any of this :( Wes is my fav character by far, he is sassy, egocentric and a badboy but a gentleman with hello kitty socks at the same time (?) idk how to explain, he is just soo lovable and funny. Also he is not that typical badboy cliche, more like a green flag, dressed as a red flag (?) I really can’t explain, you‘ll have to read for yourself. The sister seemed kinda mean to me at the beginning and I couldn’t really understand their love but proceeding I got it, Claire is more like the „typical girl“ stereotype in books but absolutely kind and loving, I really admired this deep love between them two, that was great. Now to the best part, the plot. And omg what was THAT?? I‘ve never ever seen a more jaw dropping plot, I literally gasped when I read who the killer was. But not in a way you’re left like huh? It just makes so much SENSE. Everything is so clear, every motive, every decision EVERYTHING. This is literally the best, most sensible plot ever. But I NEVER ever would’ve guessed. The suspense was KILLING me, it was soo thrilling, at some points at the story I got really startled. The scary moments were written REALLY good and authentic. A little bit like reading a Slasher. My only complaint is the open ending (cuz I hate them) it kinda felt as if something was missing, some statement of another character or how it proceeded after the process. I just need more of that :( AND too many good people died :( wayyyyy too many good people. I didn’t like that.

ein alles in allem, sehr sehr gutes buch, man weiß bis zum schluss nicht wie es ausgeht, obwohl ich sagen muss, dass das ende etwas verwirrend war, vielleicht liegt das aber auch an fehlender konzentration beim lesen meiner seits. jedenfalls empfehlenswert:)
