You get what you see, but also so much more.
This book reads as one would watch a romantic comedy, but without all the stereotypes and bad dialogue.
Curtis Sittenfeld created a witty, smart and original take on a modern love story, and I'm all here for it!
If you love reading romance novels but sometimes feel that they lack a certain depth and authenticity, this is the book for you.
I absolutely loved the story and had so much fun while reading.

Sally is a comedy scriptwriter for a TV show and believes herself to be rather mediocre. Even though she has met many celebrities, being one of the top writers for the show, the pop star Noah and their connection seems different. Over five years, the author portrays the development of the relationship between Noah and Sally, as well as Sally’s relationship with herself. I would recommend this for romance readers who fancy light-hearted and witty romance books with a twist.
