I may have cried once or twice while reading this. "Us" by Sara Soler is an autobiographic comic. The comic starts with Sara and her partner, who starts to question their gender. First they try to ignore the elephant in the room, but after two years they have to face it. Sara's partner comes out as trans. She is a transgender woman, and her new name is Diana. This comic is very, very precious and beautiful and sad and funny and, most of all, insanely important. Trans people need a voice in every shape or form, and this comic is part of it. I recommend this book to everyone and especially to those who need some support and to those who don't understand the concept of gender. Be kind.
