This volume brings together selected contributions from 13 years of "Offenes Forum Psychotherapie" (open panel psychotherapy) at the "Institut für ppt" (institute for psychological psychotherapy) in Berlin. A wide spectrum of views on psychotherapy related to topics of gender sciences, art, sociology, social work, history and medicine is represented. The common ground of these ten articles is the approach of understanding psychotherapy as a discipline that lives from interpersonal exchange and is to be understood in a social context. Like the "Offenes Forum" itself, this anthology is intended to be a place of discussion and reflection: about the role of psychotherapists in the health care system, in science and in the social and political environment.
