no need for a long review since the story is pretty obvious: a guy stationed in the army somewhere abroad gets letters and e-mails from his assigned penpal. this book from the queen of slow burn herself is a super cute and funny read that I finished in two sittings. the first half exclusively contains e-mails and messages between the two main characters, ruby and aaron. just know what you get, so you wont be disappointed - i know this will not be everyones cup of tea, however i enjoyed it, the messages exchanged added to the intimate feeling of them both slowly getting to know each other and finally building a relationship. the characters are somewhat relatable but their personal development, especially rubys, throughout the book is not the greatest. however, i didn't expect too much ordering this one and it was still enjoyable for what it is. give it a go and you probably won't be disappointed.
