The first thing I want to compliment is the world building in this book because it mixes reality and fantasy so well that it makes sense. It is so thought through that it goes into physics in smaller parts in detail while skillfully bringing the addition of dragons and their breath into it. It needs a bit of willingness intellect to understand most of it but everytime I started to feel like I couldn't take up more scientific information the story switched to a different more social setting. Furthermore the storyline itself keeps you hopeful, surprised and scared and every other emotion in the best ways in my opinion. I liked that it while shining important light on problems that needed solving and also characters that have terrible personalities it didn't give them the kind of attention where you get so annoyed with a character that it destroys the book. Lastly I also lived the main character. She's a strong character with several facets showing through multiple difficulties she has to face. She feels genuine, interesting and makes it easy to understand her emotions and points of view. The books also gives many opportunities to challenge certain social expectations and limitations that left me confused and wondering in the best way possible if that makes sense. It gave my brain topics to think about while also being highly entertaining. I genuinely love this book and can't wait for part 2.
