Ich bin euch noch die Rezi zu diesem Buch schuldig...Und schuldig, weil ich dieses Buch so sehr geliebt habe und ich meine Freude mit euch teilen will...Ich war überrascht...Irgendetwas zog mich an und so durfte das Buch einziehen...Innerhalb kurzer Zeit inhalierte ich den Inhalt...Noch jetzt bin ich hin und weg...Während ich diese Worte hier schreibe, habe ich ein Lächeln auf den Lippen und Herzchen in den Augen...Annie und Will waren ein Traumpaar...Grumpy und Sunshine Vibes...Annie ist eine normale junge Frau...Unsicher aufgrund von gesagten Worten und schiefen Blicken...Diese Unsicherheit aufzubrechen ist schwer und dafür ist Will der perfekte Mann... Der Schreibstil gefiel mir sehr gut...Ich lachte und fühlte...Ich wollte Annie nicht alleine lassen...Von mir gibt es eine ganz klare Leseempfehlung und ich freue mich definitiv auf mehr aus der Feder von Sarah Adams...

Das Buch ist der absolute Hammer! Nach einem Tag hab ich’s zu Ende gelesen, weil ich’s einfach nicht weglegen konnte. Die Protagonisten entwickeln sich zum Ende hin so ins positive und passen dadurch wie Topf und Deckel! Das Buch ist lustig, süß, emotional und romantisch mit dem perfekten Maß an Kitsch und Spice. Die Chemie ist unbeschreiblich und ich selbst bin beim lesen mehr als nur ein Mal errötet. Ich habe bisher viele Bücher gelesen, die in die selbe Richtung gehen, aber bis jetzt hatte keins davon mehr als 20 Markierungen. Dass „Practice makes perfect“ 30+ Markierungen hat, spricht für sich. 5/5 Sterne von mir! Das ist mein absoluter Lieblingsroman.

Will Griffin, a flirtatious bodyguard, is a man who doesn’t do relationships at all. When the two of them meet, sparks fly, but they know that they could never work out. So there’s no harm in entering a student-mentor-relationship, in which Will shows Annie how to come out of her shell and get more comfortable when it comes to dating, right? Right… I’ve read a few novels by Sarah Adams over the last couple of years, all of which I enjoyed to some degree, but only one I’ve loved. „Practice Makes Perfect“ definitely falls into the latter category. This book is just so cute and wholesome and fun, it had me giggling like a teenager and forget everything going on around me. Annie and Will are amazing MCs. Both of them have been shaped by their very different pasts, are very self-aware and actually talk to one another about their wants and needs and boundaries. It was a treat to follow the progression of their relationship and see them grow both individually and as a couple. Like „When In Rome“, this story is set in Rome, Kentucky – a town that reminded me a lot of Stars Hollow. The tight-knit community, the way everyone knows about everbody’s business, the town meetings – Rome almost feels like its own character. If you are looking for a feel-good rom-com that’ll take your heart by storm, look no further. „Practice Makes Perfect“ is fun, sweet and hilarious as well as refelctive and self-aware and the characters and all of their interactions are just *chef’s kiss*.

Small-town romance with a little bit of spice. Shy, witty and understanding FMC. Strong, badboy MMC with family issues. Extremely cute and perfect for a cold day, while cuddled up in blankets and with a warm cup of tea in hand.
